What data we collect
When you use Invoice Nudge, we collect:
- Account information — your name and email address when you sign up.
- QuickBooks Online data — invoice details (amounts, due dates, customer names and email addresses) synced via read-only OAuth access. We never modify your QuickBooks data.
- Usage data — pages visited and feature usage, collected via Plausible Analytics (cookieless and privacy-friendly).
How we use your data
- To send payment reminders (email and SMS) to your customers on your behalf.
- To display your invoice status on your dashboard.
- To process payments for your subscription.
- To improve the service and fix bugs.
Third-party services
We share data with the following providers, only as needed to operate the service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing. We never store your full card details.
- Resend — sending reminder emails on your behalf.
- Twilio — sending SMS reminders on your behalf.
- Intuit QuickBooks Online — invoice data sync via OAuth.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove all your data from our systems within 30 days. Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Delete your account — from your settings page or by emailing us.
- Export your data — request a full export by emailing us.
- Disconnect QuickBooks — revoke access from your settings page.
Cookies
Invoice Nudge uses a single httpOnly session cookie for authentication. We use Plausible Analytics for usage data, which is fully cookieless and does not track individual users.
